We currently have a selection of motors from AMW, AeroTech, Cesaroni, and a few from Gorilla Motors.
In addition to motors, HUFFPERFORMANCE is going to be your resource for many of the frequently needed rocket items. Rail buttons, shock cord, shear pins, parachutes, blast pads, e-matches, etc. If you need it, we're going to try and stock it for quick delivery and launch day access.
HUFFPERFORMANCE.com will provide you with a complete look at our on hand inventory where you will no longer have to guess what motors are available or if you can wait till launch day to get that one last little part you need to finish the newest addition to your fleet.
See the Contact Us page to get in touch with us.
The first Tech Corner article is here! It isn't quite complete, but we couldn't wait to release the progrees we have made. So what are you waiting for? Check out the Blue Tube build!
Over the last couple days, I have been talking with Always Ready Rocketry and am pleased to announce that HUFFPERFORMANCE is coming online as the latest Blue Tube dealer. We will stock all sizes of tubes, but limited quanities of 5.5" and 6". If you want to secure your tubes for the initial order, let us know by Tuesday the 21st where we can guarantee that we get what you would like.
Plenty of Blue Tube will be on hand at the May 2nd launch in Manchester, as well as at Southern Thunder June 19th - 21st.
We received our trial order of Blue Tube tonight. This stuff looks pretty impressive. There will soon be two Blue Tube rockets added to the HUFFPERFORMANCE fleet.
Look for a build thread and review of the product coming in about 2 weeks. We had hoped to get them built and post the review sooner, but with commitments to USLI it just isn't possible to build till the 24th/25th.
I have a very limited supply of AeroTech Certification motors available. These reloads are specially packaged and are for use on certification flights only. I will require proof that you are attempting to cert before providing these reloads.
I will hold these motors for you only with pre-payment. Once on the field, they are first come first served.
Southern Thunder isn't that far away. It's time to start thinking about what you'll be flying. I am offering two special deals for reloads delivered to ST.
#1 Certification Special - Choose any reload that I have in stock, let me know which one you want, work out prompt payment via cash/check/money order, and receive the following discount:
#2 Pre order discount - Choose any reload that I have in stock and get 10% off retail. You must arrange prompt payment via cash/check/money order at the time you reserve the reload.
I will accept orders for AeroTech (mid and high power), AMW/Pro-X/CTI, and Gorilla Motors, as well as Binder Design and AeroPack, until May 18th.
The poll results have been taken into consideration - as of this point, most folks say a small rental fee would be okay with them. I am trying to get a full set of hardware for everyone to use, but it is tough to do very quickly. So, I have decided that cases will be loaned at 5% of the retail cost. All the money generated by these fees will be placed to the side and used solely for my hardware costs. There is also a deal in it for you - 50% of what you have paid to rent a case can be used towards it's purchase.
For Example: You've bummed the AMW 54/1400 case 6 times @ $7.29 a flight. That's $43.74 you've paid. I'll give you 50% of that ($21.87) off the cost of a new case, or whatever price we agree on for the used one should you want it.
Be sure to ask for and keep your receipts though, cause I'm not going back and trying to figure out how many times you flew the CTI 38mm 1 grain case in the past 5 years!
As always, flyers are responsible for replacing hardware should they damage or lose it.
